Welcome to the New Mexico YMCA Youth and Government Website!
The purpose of the New Mexico YMCA Youth and Government Program is to develop, within youth, a dedication to the values of democracy and leadership in the democratic process. The Youth and Government Program of the YMCA is a project in citizenship training designed to help high school students understand the process by which we make laws to govern ourselves through actual participation.
