Tombstone Pass is a popular backcountry ski playground easily accessible from Oregon's Willamette valley. There wasn't enough snow to ski on this weekend, but it was clear enough to see every volcano between Mount Adams and Diamond Peak.
We break to ditch our snowshoes at a small clearing halfway up cone peak.
