My good friend Ruth came up to Boulder for the weekend, with talented climbers Mike and Dan in tow. Together we climbed the First Flatiron to its northern arete, rapelling off the back in hasty pursuit of a 26-inch pizza.

This was my first multi-pitch climb and my first one on trad. The shallow angle of the climb helped allay my fear of heights, though I wasn't quite in a position to take pictures until things flattened out at the end of the third pitch.
